Will I see a physician at PRMC Urgent Care?

No, our PRMC Urgent Care employs experienced Advanced Practice Providers that will provide the care you need for your urgent need and will refer you back to your primary care provider or will provide a list of local physicians, if you don’t have one.

Can I use PRMC Urgent Care as my primary care provider?

You should establish with a primary care provider outside of PRMC Urgent Care and utilize PRMC Urgent Care only for the times you are unable to get an appointment with your primary care provider for urgent medical needs that are not emergent or life threatening.

I don’t have insurance; can I be seen in PRMC Urgent Care?

You can be seen in PRMC Urgent Care, regardless of insurance. We accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards. Payment in full is required at the time of service for private pay patients.

I have insurance, will PRMC Urgent Care bill my insurance?

We accept and can bill most insurances; however, you will be responsible for any co-pay or co-insurance due at the time of service. We do NOT accept health care sharing plans.

What do I need to bring with me to PRMC Urgent Care?

  • Photo ID
  • All Insurance cards
  • List of Current Medications or Supplements with dosages
  • Any prior tests/study results you have had that may assist in your care

Do I have to make an appointment?

No, an appointment is not necessary, however checking in through our on-line chat bot is preferred and may help expedite your care once you arrive.
